More that a daring coaching move, to me it reflects the respect that he has for Peyton in a two minute offence. 29 yard drive vs. an 80 aint much difference for Manning who has done it maybe once of twice in the past.

agreed - Peyton has done it so often (including a couple of 4th Q comebacks against Coach B). Kinda a dis to the defense (in their eyes anyways), but he was playin the odds. And giving Peyton 2 full minutes to go even 80 or 90 yards is 50/50 AT BEST. Plus, we got a pretty darn good q-back of our own - odds were pretty good we would make it. Thems the breaks.

oh well - it aint playoff time yet

I dunno...sounds like a little too much of an excuse to turn him from dummychit to supersmartcoachthatoutthunkhiself, if you follow...

Sure, if you're (over) confident you can make it, you go for it, but conventional wisdom (punt!!!) is precisely that cause it's the smart move, methinks...

Anyway, merely raggin on you PATs fans, of course! Me, I still root for the Raiders, so whadda I know?

I knew there was something about WT for I am also a big Raider fan. They were even on tv in NC yesterday and truly hard to watch two totally crap teams. Rather got kicked in the jimmy

That reminds me of the farce that was the immaculant reception and the bogus TUCK rule. Al "The Crypt Keeper" lives on
